Ordering Guidelines

Hours - We are open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. except on some national holidays.

Shipping Guarantee - Orders in by 1:30 PM are guaranteed to ship the same day! Orders in earlier are always appreciated. (Guarantee applies to items in stock only). Mountain Glass Arts has never failed to ship an order the same day that was in before 1:30 p.m. - If this does happen, the shipping for that order will be refunded.

Shipping Specifics - We ship with UPS, other arrangements can be made if necessary. As your shipping charges may vary from the on-line estimate, your invoice with final order total will be emailed to you at time of shipment. Shipping quotes are also available on UPS.com or by calling (800) PICK-UPS. Estimate four lbs. per case of glass over the listed weight.

Handling Charges & Packing Materials - We are using a state-of-the-art packaging system and charge an $8.00 handling fee per large box (which includes items like tubing/rod and kilns) and a $ 4.00 handling fee for small boxes (for items like color, tools, torches etc.)

Truck Shipments - When shipping items via truck an additional $ 10.00 pallet fee will be added.

Insurance - It is included with your shipping charges but you will have to wait on UPS to process a claim if you need to file one. If you purchase our insurance @$4.00 per box/case we will replace your glass immediately with no cost to you and we will then work with UPS for you and wait on the claim ourselves. We are not accountable for uninsured shipments that are damaged. The UPS insurance included with your shipping charges does not guarantee they will pay a claim, our insurance guarantees we will.

Payment & COD policy - We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also will accept prepayment with a check or money order (personal checks must clear before an order can be sent out) or we can ship C.O.D. for which UPS adds $9.00 per box. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges for C.O.D.'s returned to us and may be charged a restocking fee. After a second C.O.D. is returned to us because customer is not home or funds are not available we will require prepayment on all future orders. UPS will only make 3 delivery attempts so please be ready ! Items and shipments costing over $500 must be prepaid. Kilns must also be prepaid and cannot ship COD. - All returns must be approved before you may send them back, please call if you need to return an item.

Partial Case Discount - You may order any number of pieces at a discount off the single piece price (as long as you are ordering at least 1/4 or more of the pieces in the case) plus $5.00. Just divide the cost of the case by the # of pieces in it then multiply that price by the number of pieces you want. Add $5.00 to that total. Thus, you can save some money and order the exact number of pieces you need if you don’t want a full case. We will add the $5 when we process the order for shipment.

If you plan on stopping in our store you may also call ahead with your order and it will be ready when you arrive.
